LIVE@Frost Science: The World of Single Molecule Microscopy

Dr. David J. Nesbitt of JILA, University of Colorado, will be the presenter for the upcoming LIVE@Frost Science event on Thursday, March 30. The presentation titled "A Brief Stroll through the World of Single Molecule Microscopy: How to Study Biology, One Molecule at a Time" will focus on the use of optical microscopy and single photon counting laser fluorescence methods to measure the folding of single nucleic acid molecules, including DNA and RNA, in real-time. The talk will consist of short stories demonstrating how this technology can be used to study biology at a molecular level.
