On World Ocean Day, June 8, Miami DDA presents a special Member Morning focusing on sustainable seafood. Members are invited to join renowned Chef Allen Susser, who will demonstrate how to prepare lionfish, showcasing the culinary benefits of consuming invasive species. The event, held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Knight Learning Center on Level 5, includes hands-on ocean conservation activities for the whole family led by the Frost Science team. Attendees can also purchase and have Chef Allen's book, "Green Fig and Lionfish," signed. Space is limited, so members are encouraged to reserve their spot along with their daily admission.
