PAWS, which stands for Promoting Animal Welfare Saturdays, is back to tickle the fancy of pet enthusiasts, courtesy of Brickell Magazine and a few pals like Friends of Miami Animals Foundation and Miami Dade County Animal Services. This fun-filled affair is happening every first Saturday of the month, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (sorry, July through September, you're out). Mark your calendars for November 2, as the furry fiesta rolls into The Underline's Brickell Backyard SoundStage Plaza. And just to take the edge off your 'who's going to check me in' worries, Florida Power & Light is handling the check-ins.

What can you expect? Well, think of it as a community tailgate party for pets and their humans where animal welfare takes center stage and there's bound to be a woof-tastic array of activities. So grab your dog, your cat, or even your overly judgmental goldfish, and come join the fun. It's a great chance to give your pets a little spotlight, maybe make some new furry friends, and possibly even convince your soft-hearted friends to adopt that little critter they've been eyeing.
