Every second Saturday of the month, the Miami Children's Museum extends a warm welcome to children with disabilities and their families, offering a sensory-friendly experience. In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, this month's event pays tribute to the first people. Children can immerse themselves in creation stories during story time with the Theater Troupe and explore the museum in a sensory-modified, supportive environment. With limited admission and thoughtful sound and lighting adjustments, the goal is to create a setting that enhances social interactions, improves sensory processing, and optimizes children's understanding of and engagement in natural surroundings. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to connect and learn together.
