Experience an enchanting evening celebrating sustainable seafood, fine wine, and engaging conversations with culinary experts at the 2024: A Culinary Celebration of Sustainable Seafood. Led by Chef Allen Susser, Slow Fish Chair of Slow Food Miami, the series kicks off on March 14th, 2024, with an exclusive dinner hosted by Chef de Cuisine Diana Tandia at The Palms Hotel & Spa, a Slow Food Snail of Approval honoree since 2011. Nestled steps from Miami Beach, Essensia, renowned for its mindful Mediterranean-style cuisine with Asian influences, will feature a 3-course meal showcasing sustainable seafood from sponsors Sun Shrimp and Blue House Salmon. Chef Diana, known for her seasonally inspired dishes, will display her culinary expertise. Attendees will also enjoy captivating films by local nonprofit Sereia Films, directed by Slow Fish member Sarah Curry, highlighting seafood stories of sustainability-driven individuals. This unique event, priced at $125, provides a platform for networking and collaboration, fostering a community committed to making a positive impact in the realm of sustainable seafood.
